Delete your account

Instructions to delete your PanicButton account

From the app (recommended)

1. Open PanicButton.
2. Tap your avatar / Profile in the corner.
3. Scroll to the very bottom.
4. Tap Danger zone → Delete my account.
5. Confirm the deletion.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. The following is removed:

• Your profile (name, optional medical data).
• Your past alerts.
• Your responses to other people's alerts.
• Your trusted contacts.
• Your group memberships.
• Groups where you were the only member.
• Your account in the auth system (email + password hash).
• Your push notification token.

It cannot be recovered afterwards.

If you cannot access the app

Write to contact@atseacode.dev from the email you registered with. Use the subject "PanicButton account deletion". We process the request within 30 business days.

What is NOT deleted

• System logs (technical diagnostics, no personal data), rotated after 30 days.
• Backup copies in the provider's infrastructure (Supabase), rotated per their policy (7-30 days).
