If I press the button, who does it call? Who comes?
It calls nobody on its own: it doesn't dial 911 or an ambulance. It sends your location to your group and your emergency contacts, and whoever is closest and able comes. You can leave it set so that, if you miss every check, your group sees a button to call emergency services for you: Settings → My alert → If you do not answer.
How do I fire an alert?
Press and hold the central button for 2 seconds. It goes to your active groups and your emergency contacts with your live location.
What is "Heads up" and how is it different from SOS?
It's a notice, not an alarm: you say what you're doing and until when, and your group knows what to expect without any siren. The app asks whether you're still at it; if you don't answer or ask for help, it becomes an emergency.
What happens if I don't answer the checks?
With a red alarm, after three unanswered checks we tell your emergency contacts who chose "last resort", your group sees your instructions and the button to call emergency services, and the alarm stays open. With a heads-up, two unanswered and your group finds out; if it expires, it becomes an emergency.
How do I create or join a group?
Settings → My alert → My groups (or the dropdown at the top → Groups). You can create one, join with the invite link or scan the group's QR. Whoever manages the group approves the request.
How do I add emergency contacts?
Dropdown at the top → Contacts → Add contact (or Settings → My alert → Contacts). Enter their @username or phone number and send them the link; they're in once they accept. Someone from your groups becomes a contact with one tap from their card.
How does someone without the app get my alarms?
On Telegram: from their card in Contacts you send them the Telegram link, they open it and from then on they get your alarms and can reply. Without the app or Telegram they get nothing.
How do I test the alarm without scaring anyone?
Settings → My alert → Drill the alarm. It arms a drill and the next SOS goes out marked as a drill from the very first notice. It disarms by itself after 5 minutes.
How do I change the language?
Settings → The app → Language. If yours isn't there, you can request it right from there.
How do I delete my account and data?
Deletion is immediate and permanent. We walk you through exactly what is removed.
What is PanicButton.
A silent panic button for your circle of trust: hold for two seconds and your groups and your emergency contacts get the alert with your live location, with or without the app (on Telegram). Your phone stays silent. Your group's phones ring. And for what isn't an emergency there are two more buttons: "Heads up" says what you're doing and until when, "I'm OK" says all is well.
